Hi everyone. Sorry for the lack of content this week -I’ve been busy trying to put together my hospital’s Open House & Expo which is happening in a couple of weeks. For anyone who is reading this blog locally, you’re all invited to come down and have some fun with us. It’s not going to be your typical open house with a carnival-like theme (I’m not sure why veterinary hospitals like to do that so much), but rather a showcase for some local non profit groups as well as educational opportunities for all the attendees. Perhaps “The 1st Annual Levittown Pet Owners Convention” would have been a slightly more appropriate title… In any case, details are below. Hope to see some of you there.

Wish you were closer! I’d love to come & see the exhibits–Antech is a fave.
Such a good idea that every clinic do one yearly, but somewhat rare in my area.
Maybe offer a goodwill “test” for your new and possibly newly acquired patrons? A urine dipstick screen for $5, perhaps, with a boxes to check off and one indicating followup suggested or “normal sample- no abnormalities found” —

We will very likely be doing free oral exams, looking for and grading dental disease :)
